The E-2 visa is granted to an investor who develops and directs a real, operating enterprise. It is not granted for a business plan. We start from the business, because the business is what the consular officer evaluates.
TealBridge is not a law firm and not a visa broker. We do not sell visas or place clients into identical franchises. We identify a business that fits your capital and experience, complete the acquisition or the launch, and prepare the operational record. Your immigration attorney files the case.
The order matters. A business assembled only to support a filing reads as one. A business with real revenue, staff, and a defensible plan reads as what it is.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum investment?
There is no fixed statutory minimum. The investment must be substantial in proportion to the cost of the business. For most service businesses this begins around $100,000. We size a realistic budget for your specific case.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the acquisition and the consular post. We provide a stage-by-stage schedule once the mandate is set. [уточнить: типичный диапазон]
Can the visa be denied?
Yes. The decision rests with the consular officer and USCIS. We prepare the business and the record to the E-2 standard and work alongside your immigration attorney; we do not guarantee approval.
Which countries are eligible?
The E-2 visa is available to nationals of treaty countries, roughly 81 in total. Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are not on the list. We confirm eligibility at the consultation.
Do I have to relocate immediately?
You must develop and direct the business, which requires presence, though not from the first day. We structure management so the requirement is met in practice.
What if the business underperforms?
We select for businesses with existing revenue and defensible economics, and we build a realistic model rather than an optimistic one. Operating risk remains real; we plan for it rather than around it.
Do you replace an immigration attorney?
No. We prepare the business and the financial record. Legal representation and the filing stay with your attorney, with whom we coordinate.
How do you document source of funds?
We assemble a traceable record from a lawful origin to the business account: bank statements, tax filings, sale agreements, and gifts where relevant.
What about my family?
